Here’s what’s needed to become a Chaufr!
Minimum Requirements
You must meet the minimum age to drive in your city/ Have at least one year of driving experience/ and own or lease a 4-door eligible vehicle that is clean and in excellent condition.
Required Documents
A valid driver's license/ Proof of residency in your city, state, or province/ Valid vehicle insurance & registration/ and a clear driver profile photo for in-app ID and client confirmation are all required to be onboarded as a driver for Chaufr.
Background Check
All applicants must undergo a through law-enforcement level background and driving history check. You must meet Chaufr's standards for safety, service, and professionalism. There will be continuous eligibility monitoring to ensure rider trust and quality.
Vehicle Requirements
Vehicle Needs
To deliver the Chaufr experience, drivers must operate premium/ luxury vehicles that meet our elevated standards for safety, comfort, and style. Below are the minimum requirements that your vehicle should possess:
- Vehicle Class: Full-size luxury sedans or SUV (e.g. Mercedes S-Class, Cadillac Escalade, Audi A8, Range Rover)
- Color: Neutral (black, grey, silver, charcoal, white)/ Drk Blue
- Year: 2018 or Newer
- Doors: 4- Door
- Vehicle Condition: Clean, well-maintained, free of cosmetic damage. No visible aftermarket modifications
- Interior: Leather or premium upholstery
Additional Notes
All drivers will be required to display the “Chaufr” decal on the front and rear of their vehicle while online. Placement of the front decal shall be on your front passenger windshield facing outward; the rear decal shall be on your rear passenger window facing outward as well. You are more than welcome to remove them when offline.
If you should ever need replacement decals, you can request them in-app.
- Note: Vehicles are inspected upon approval and subject to random in-app audits. Your vehicle is a reflection of the Chaufr brand- treat it like your best business suit.
